Shanika McCray, DPM, is a podiatric surgeon with a focused background in diabetic wound care and a passion for advancing lower extremity limb preservation.
She earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in Miami and went on to complete her residency at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and affiliated hospitals in New York City. Following residency, Dr. McCray pursued a dedicated fellowship in wound care at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where she honed her expertise in managing complex foot wounds and diabetic limb salvage.
With a strong foundation in clinical medicine and surgical techniques, Dr. McCray combines her technical skillset with a compassionate approach to patient care. She credits her upbringing in a medically underserved community as the driving force behind her commitment to making a difference in patients’ lives. Now practicing at Evolve Health’s Post Oak location, Dr. McCray is dedicated to advancing wound care access and outcomes throughout the region.
