The doctor put my super shy son at ease when we went to get his ingrown toenail removed. He was cracking jokes and had my son laughing so hard during the actual removal. I was so surprised because my son does not warm up to people that quickly ever. The doctor was very professional and handled the procedure skillfully while also entertaining/distracting my son and me. I have never had so much fun at a doctor visit. Highly recommend him!

I have been going to Modern Foot & Ankle (aka Spring Branch Podiatry) for going on 15+ years. I have had plantar fasciitis surgery on both feet and dealt with some other old ankle injuries. The staff are all very good to work with, patient and friendly. Dr. Beckman is VERY good. His "bedside" manner is great. He's easy to talk to and explains things in layman's terms. He's not a "let's operate" kind of doc. Where possible he's going to try to do all that's reasonable to avoid surgery. We worked together over several years as my plantar progressed before deciding it was time for the surgery. They came recommended to me from a long term patient and now as a long-term patient I firmly recommend them, too.

Dr. Beckman is great. I don't know how to say it. Smart, analytical, personable. I have been to this practice a hand full of times and have always felt well taken care of. The only suggestion I could offer Dr. Beckman is that his staff could be a little more personable.
