Dr. Sagar Shah

Sagar Shah, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist specializing in sports injuries, pediatric care, wound therapy, and reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville followed by his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. Dr. Shah then served as chief resident during his surgical training at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami.

After several years of private practice in Virginia, Dr. Shah sought new challenges to advance his clinical expertise. He elected to join Modern Foot & Ankle to focus on improving his medical care through a better understanding of lifestyles and overall patient health.

Outside of the office, Dr. Shah enjoys cheering on the Florida Gators and Tampa Bay Bucs, working out at the gym, and spending time with his family, his niece, Prisha, and his goldendoodle, Buggles. Dr. Shah has also volunteered his services to international causes, such as The Yucatán Crippled Children’s Project in Mexico, through which he performed corrective surgery on children with lower extremity deformities.
