Dr. Evan Young

Evan Young, DPM, is a triple board-certified physician known for his surgical diversity and use of pioneering techniques. He provides clinical and surgical podiatric solutions for all ages, specializing in pediatric conditions, revisional surgery, bunion and hammertoe correction, and foot and ankle reconstruction.

After receiving his degrees from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science in Chicago, Dr. Young served as chief resident during his three-year surgical residency at Chicago’s Mercy Hospital. His training placed a strong emphasis on orthopedics, traumatology, and complex reconstruction; he also studied closely with the foremost pediatric orthopedic specialist in the country, Dr. Edwin Harris.

For seven years Dr. Young was an attending at the Cooper Clinic Foot Health Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Now he brings his talents to Modern Foot & Ankle, where his pursuit of new minimally-invasive techniques is nourished by the practice’s prioritization of medical advances. Dr. Young is one of a handful of surgeons who has achieved distinction in performing the miniBunion system, a groundbreaking procedure for bunion correction.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Young enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. His hobbies include coaching baseball, playing piano, and attending his sons’ and daughter’s events.
