Dr. Eric Krznaric

Eric Krznaric, DPM, is a fellowship-trained board-certified podiatrist specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopy, total ankle replacement, and trauma. He played Division 1 baseball while attending Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers and graduated cum laude; he then earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University in Miami, where he was elected vice president of his class. Dr. Krznaric completed his surgical training at Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Florida, serving as chief resident during his third year.

Following residency, Dr. Krznaric pursued a competitive fellowship in advanced reconstructive and peripheral nerve surgery in Pennsylvania. He remained in Pennsylvania to work in private practice for two years before joining Modern Foot & Ankle. Dr. Krznaric is recognized for his research and has presented his findings at the ACFAS National Conference multiple years.

Outside of the office, Dr. Krznaric stays active. He plays recreational sports, competes in triathlons, and spends time with his family and friends. Dr. Krznaric also volunteers his services to local and international outreach programs, including the Miami Rescue Mission, the Special Olympics, and The Yucatán Crippled Children’s Project in Mexico.
