Thane Wedum, DPM, is a podiatric physician with specialized training in sports medicine, wound care, and limb salvage. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio before obtaining his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Wedum then completed a rigorous three-year surgical residency at the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.
During his training, Dr. Wedum gained extensive experience treating complex wounds and preventing limb loss, often utilizing biologics and advanced healing techniques. He is board-qualified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and is passionate about helping patients return to active, healthy lifestyles through personalized and attentive care.
